Kitty Litter is Great For This Need

It’s true that the winter season is almost here. Leaves have left most trees, most days are chilly, and people are already shopping for Christmas presents and trees.

Unfortunately, driving through winter months isn’t easy, at least not always. Here are three things every driver should keep with them at all times.

You can prevent frozen precipitate from forming by placing down salt. It must be rock salt, although it’s harmful to pets and plants. It’s expensive, and only works on ice when it’s above 12 degrees Fahrenheit, but very convenient.

Sand can help you drive over slick spots. Kitty litter will help you accelerate from places you’re otherwise stuck. You should consider using both sand and kitty litter when driving out of non-paved places you’re stuck in.

You can rely on us at Bedard Bros. Chrysler Jeep Dodge to answer questions whenever, and about whatever, related to driving this winter.
