Not too long ago, we celebrated what some Jeep brand enthusiasts would consider a holiday: 4x4 Day.
As if owning a new Jeep model weren't amazing enough, April 4 was a day dedicated to showing off everything your 4x4 SUV has to offer. Cue finding every puddle of mud in Cheshire, MA or finding trails nearby to conquer.
Considering a new Jeep model? Here are some of the 4x4 systems offered:
- Active Drive 4x4 and Active Drive Low 4x4; the former is available for the Renegade Sport, Latitude, and Limited. The latter is standard on the Trailhawk
- Jeep Active Drive I 4x4 and Jeep Active Drive II 4x4; the former is available on Cherokee Sport, Latitude, and Limited. The latter is standard on the Trailhawk model
- Rock-Trac® 4x4: standard on Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited
- Quadra-Drive® II 4x4: Available on Grand Cherokee Limited, Overland, and Summit
- Quadra-Trac I® 4x4: standard on the Grand Cherokee Laredo
- Quadra-Trac II® 4x4: Available on the Grand Cherokee Laredo and standard for Limited, Overland, and Summit
- Freedom Drive I™ 4x4: standard on Compass and Patriot Sport, Latitude, and High Altitude models
- Freedom Drive II® 4x4: Available for the Compass and Patriot Sport and Latitude models
