Our Past

The story of our dealership began in 1954 when Leo Bedard envisioned a way to serve his community and satiate his entrepreneurial spirit. Leo started selling used cars out of his garage in Adams, Massachusetts, building a stellar reputation for treating each customer like family. Leo's unique approach meant his business quickly flourished, requiring a larger location beyond the comforts of home to accommodate more makes and models. Leo eventually turned his home-based used car business into a Saab franchise in Cheshire. 

Even with the expansion, Leo never lost sight of his passion or reason for going into business: serving others. He built that first dealership on the same family-centric approach and values of integrity, respect, and accountability. By the 1960s, he welcomed his son, Ron, into the business, followed by his younger son, Brian, in the 1970s. The Bedard family legacy was officially born. 

Our Present

Over the years, Ron and Brian eventually took over the helm, welcoming their sons, Bill, Bret, and Steven, into the family business. Today, Leo's grandsons proudly continue his legacy and oversee Bedard Bros. Auto Sales, Inc., a true family-owned and operated automotive group with seven franchises, over 100 employees, and more than 50,000 vehicles sold. It's a legacy that is hard-earned and well-deserved. 

Family is a critical component of our legacy and stretches beyond the Bedards, who are always the first to arrive and the last to leave our dealership each day.
