The all-new Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is the most fuel-efficient minivan ever created, delivering a 31 percent reduction in global warming potential than the Chrysler minivan's prior-generation, gas-powered version.
By basing their computations on 120,000 miles of operation, Chrysler engineers have calculated that each 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid reduces CO2e greenhouse gas emissions by over 46,000 pounds than a similar gasoline-powered vehicle. These reductions are equivalent to the average annual CO2 output of 22 U.S. households, or that of 14 flights from Detroit to Los Angeles.
The Pacifica Hybrid's powertrain features a specially-modified version of the 3.6-liter V-6 engine that works with a 16 kWh 360V lithium-ion battery to deliver a best-in-class EPA estimated fuel economy rating of 84 MPGe (miles-per-gallon-equivalent).
You should keep in mind that the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid qualifies for the $7,500 federal tax credit, so you'll save some green by going green. The vehicle is expected to arrive at United States dealerships this spring.
